I get what they’re going for - it’s a CT 200h back end - but that really only works if the car is like a Renault Vel Satis or something - no long rear overhang.

Then again, if that back window were longer, even though it’d break the tail light line, it would possibly work.

I think the LS looks good as it is. I think a hatchback variant would look better if it adopted the sloping style that the A7/S7 has rather than this.

My feelings are the same for the GS. The previous generation had more of a slope/hatchback look, whereas this generation looks more sedan-y. Not completely against a wagon concept, but I think it can look more natural that what we see here. At this point, I’d rather see something nutty from Lexus, like them adding a turbo or two to the existing 1UR engine they use in the LS/GS. Make a true "F" model to compete with other pointless machines like the AMG S-Class, RS7, etc. Whatever they do, I can't afford it anyway.
